So glad i stumbled upon these sketches. If TOI looks at these then R.K.L mit just have to look for a different career option. Awesome...
Dushyant - thanks. I do read your blog on and off, its just that I didn't drop a comment before.Harish - you surely exaggerate. R K Laxman is God... I am still learning! but thanks for visiting.
great work. How correctly you've expressed a lot of things without a word.
no one could've expressed it better... this is real good work...
Really touching Sameer!
good one sameer. After seeing your sketch i went through all the links on machans blog :-(.
This picture is worth a thousand blogposts, really moving and to the point. I recced it to desipundit, hopefully they will feature it.
Thank you Kaustav.
What a way to pay a tribute.
Sameer you hit the nail! Fine thought..super!And what a talent! And you know what I dunno what to say but my cousin brother Samir had the same talent. His love though was partial towards the sketches that highlighted the military.I'm just stunned. Blogrolled you!
Hi, I saw a link to your blog on the comic project. and WOW! i am glad I checked it out. Hope Manjunath's bravery inspires others.
wasnt a similar pic on an English daily as well?
what english daily? can you let me know the link?
I think I saw it on either Vijaytimes or Deccan Herald. Not sure which.Tried to look for it online, wasnt a fruitful search.
Working for an oil Psu I know the kind of pressures manjunath would have worked under and the kind of people he would have dealt with - sales officers in the hinterland esp in UP and Bihar walk with death every day and work out compromises or run away - Manjunath clearly stood up to the challenge and paid with his life .. the picture you posted is awesome
No words to describe the greatness of your art..
Hope Manjunath's Family gets Justice
