R K Laxman, India's best loved cartoonist, passed away on January 26th, 2015. He was a true genius, there will be no one else like him. May his soul rest in peace.

This is another one from my old folder of sketches. It was, in fact, my personal favorite for quite a while !

Reminiscing the hostel days

This is not a recent effort. I did this drawing about four years back for the college magazine Abhiyanta. It was an illustration for an article called 'hostel ke wo din' or something. I remember I was really pleased with the way this sketch had turned out. Reminds me so much of my room at H-block !

I was waiting in the line at the MVA yesterday and didn't have much to do. What better way to pass time other than observing people around oneself?

Leaving the day behind

I drew this based on a really great photo from Arpita's portfolio on Dpchallenge. The original photo is much nicer, of course.

A scenery

This is a photograph of the somewhat hurried sketch, hence the gray effect. Will scan and upload it again as soon as I get a chance.
